Match day prices have gone up !!

I haven't seen this mentioned, apologies if a thread elsewhere but whilst browsing the official site I passed by the ticket section.

I posted this info on the omb first but the kids are bickering already, however I know I'll get a more interesting debate on here on how the match day ticket prices have suddenly increased with no warning by the club.

Those prices are pretty much in line with other clubs up and down the leagues.

I've had a season ticket for years, so I'm not sure how they compare to previous charges.

What's the percentage increase over last year?

Have to say they don't look that expensive and I would have thought as Ed says they would be comparable to others.

Which is still far far too excessive for Football at this level and a level the club owners seem happy for us to maintain. This will be once more reflected in the drop in "pay on the dayers" which will exceed the minimal rise in season tickets (sold under false pretences on the back of Petes so called investment) and will be evident with poor matchday crowds.

Some folk just never learn.

Imagine the price if Bradford were in the Premiership? I'm not sure it's the club owners fault, since most of them put more money in then take out these days. I'd say more to do with greedy players and agents.
It still amazes me that the top clubs in Germany like Dortmund and Bayern Munich can still offer very cheap tickets in comparision to England.

Last season was £18 and £16 for members so +£1 for members which most City fans are or can be +£2 for visiting fans. It seems ok to me, better value with an early bird season ticket like £10/£11 per game.:)

Quid for a kid - bring it back....was a great way to bring more people to watch city

This price increase may well be inline with others in the division but tbh £20 for a division 3 game of football is wayy over the odds imo

Back when i was milan bantam you could see the then euorpean champions for ten euros. put into context, it was cheaper than going to see park avenue.

Sheffield Utd have adult tickets ranging from £15 to £30 depending on the category of match. Man City too have categorised their games and charge between £22 and £29.

Meanwhile Bradford Bulls charge between £14 and £21 to watch action packed rugby league tup:

Yep - just been reading the prices - increase of £1 roughly. B.Bar is the one that has increased - from £19 last season to £21 this season !! still we dont want the riff raff in there now do we guys ! lol

I never Said I agreed with the pricing, but it's in line with what other teams choose to charge so there's no point really slating the club for the pricing.

I don't even think it's worth a tenner a person on match days, But with player wages being so high then sadly they have to charge more.

Whether you think £40k per player is a lot per year or not, it's a wage bill of nearly £1 million a year, then ground rent and non playing staff etc etc, they do need to pay the bills.

remember though it is completely free if your kids are under 11, hardly any other club have increased it from 7 years old. I think the club should be given some credit for that.

It is inline with watching most clubs in our league,but its still OTT.I remember going to Man City a few years ago and the Ticket was £12 and petrol a fiver,yet it cost me more just for a ticket for a home game at VP.

It has cost me around £300 for 2 kids and myself to get season tickets. Keep Todd in charge!!!
Then again you get what you pay for.
