Listened on the radio, he was given man of the match, did he deserve it?

He had a good game. Very tidy. I think him getting MOM is more to do with The Old Trafford mafia!;)

Hargreaves made me eat my words during the World Cup.I actually read an article from the Bundasleague and they couldnt understand the criticisam of Hargreaves playing for England,as he was voted one of the best players in Germany week in week out.I believe this was because Sven never played him in his favoured posistion and was on the bench most of the time. When he played for England from the off in his favoured posistion he was out standing and in my opinion the mom award was deseerved.

He was immense tonight, especially first half. If he put a foot wrong twice, he put it right again himself.

He was excellent. The guy is an example to all - he is not pretentious, does not expect too much of himself, he knows his job and he does it well. His workrate is phenomenal and he must cover acres of ground. Absolute perfect example of a defensive midfielder.
Good to see he could carry the weight of the number 7 shirt as well.;)

Its unlucky on Carrick, but injury aside Hargreaves has now made the holding role his own!!...
If Man Utd pick him up an'all i bet it'll only be for between 6-10 million, along with the fact that Newcastle are gonna pick up Graveson for 2/3 million it makes the decision to pay 18 million for Carrick an absolute fookin joke

From what I saw he will fit right into the premiership with his work rate and the fact he loves a tackle. The only critisism is that he is sometimes a little late into the tackle but hopefully with the pace of the premiership he should improve on this.
