Whats everybodys take on last nights match, personally 8/10 1st half but 6/10 for 2nd half. I know we eased off & the Greeks started playing but it was a chance to make a statement after the Sven years. 1st half , some of the passing and ball possession was excellent. Hargreaves, Gerrard & Terry stood out although Downing was surprisingly effective. The rest all played their part in the 1st half before the game fragmented with all the subs in the 2nd

Job done - in two words, and done impressively, couldn't really have asked for more apart from maybe being a bit more effective in the 2nd half, but it was a friendly so perhaps its understandable.
Terry proved in one friendly why he was the best choice for captain - chest puffed out, belting the national anthem out, he also went up to every player just before kick off and encouraged em - aswell as leading by example and scoring.....Gerrard would have made a fine captain but Terry has taken us to anther level IMO, as passionate and influencial as Butcher and Adams - but with the quality and style of Moore....tup:
Thought everyone played well and the system seemed OK, all in all well done Steve, lets hope he takes it into the qualifiers.....

Chuckle will still be on moaning - as he was to me by text message last night.....;) :D
