Dele Adebola is set to quit Coventry before the transfer window closes - with Dirty L33ds and Ull both keen on his signature!

Unfortunatley we could only pay him with Buttons so chances are he'll go elsewhere.

I used to like Adebola its a damn shame we cannot afford to buy him as i think hes a littke different upfront and offers power and hard work
as for Michael Standing maybe if he shows his early promise he might be able to do well at Colchester unlike he has done at Walsall and sometimes at City, good luck to them both :)

Adebola is a class act, if we could get him (Which we cant) we'd walk this league...even with todd as manager. REALLY hope he doesn't go to the scum, he's too good for them imo
As for standing, had half decent passing but the rest of his game was poor. Got realsed by walsall for not being good enough so dont quite understand what he's doing in the colchester team 2 divisions higher:confused:

Ipswich have confirmed their interest in Coventry striker Dele Adebola.
Weekend reports had linked the Tractor Boys with a move for the 31-year-old following Sam Parkin's switch to Luton and manager Jim Magilton has admitted he would be keen on taking Adebola to Portman Road.
"We are on the look-out for players that might bring something extra to the squad and if Dele becomes available he is someone we would look at," Magilton told Ipswich's official website.
Adebola found himself replaced in the starting line up by new signing Kevin Kyle on Saturday as the Sky Blues notched their first away win of the season against Hull.
The Nigerian later came off the substitutes bench to set up Kevin Thornton's winner in City's 1-0 win at the KC Stadium
