I hope Howard Wilkinson will take back over, it would all but confirm relegation if that happend.

I did read somewhere the other week that L**ds were almost out of debt. Remember they managed to write most of it off before Evil Ken took over.

On some of the L666s rivals threads it is suggested that they will be debt free next season but the parachute payments will cease... can't be bothered finding links:cool:

"We have had to deal with that millstone around our necks and still try to win games - and despite having lost so many players.
"But this time next year the club will not be in any debt whatsoever." Says Kev.
"Whereas other clubs are still carrying £40-50m worth of debt, we will be right down to maybe £4-5m.
"My understanding is that this time next year the club will be well off in terms of finances - in the top six or seven clubs in the country."

Seems somewhat optimistic to me.

It said on the radio this morning that Blackwell has been told his job is safe, so expect him to be gone this time next week.
If that is true at least we can be happy knowing that the job he is doing will be continued. They could be bottom of the league tomorrow if results go favourably.jump:

Alan Curbishley is due in NZ next week to hold a coaching school at one of our local clubs and to speak at a fund raising dinner. At least I think it's next week ---I saw it in the local paper a few days ago. Cheers.

For some reason the Leeds fans want O'Leary back, some idiot even though Ranieri would take over.
