Bets open until announcement made, but I have to put a closing date on the format so for the moment I'll put Monday night and then extend from there as necessary.

Most people are saying that Curbishley is going to be the manager. But wasn't Curbishley quoted over the weekend saying that he wasn't looking for anything until he came back from Holiday in 3 weeks time.

Still can't see him taking the job when the team is looking at division 1 football at the start of next season

I heard it could be Gary McCallister.

If you were to bet now you should have to do it at revised odds.

We took the bet of anyone else when their names weren't even mentioned, now they are favourites the odds should adjust accordingly.

Current Odds for the next leeds manager are as follows,

Wise 6/5
Souness 2/1
McAllister 11/4
Royle 8/1
Curbishley 12/1
14/1 and above bar those

Interstingly you can get 7/1 on Leeds getting relegated this season. Money in the Banktup:

I thought Curbishley had publicly ruled himself out, if i were him i wouldn't touch them with a bargepole, his cv would be seriously discredited

Betting on this thread suspended. New book under new thread to follow.

PS this betting lark doesn't work like normal bookies, the only way I can keep changing the odds if for example news breaks that someone else is the new favourite is by closing the book and installing a new thread. I don't intend to earn myself a ban by spamming with bookie's threads so I will offer the revised odds and leave it at that unless there is a significant change like one of the front-runners gets a job elsewhere. You takes your chances in this game.
