What a fantastic place, It lurvely :).

Been before but only to a wedding at the red lion and was indoors, So I explored a bit this time. The sun was beating down, We got a carry out and a picnic, some beach towels etc and spent nearly 6 hours on the green by the river. Fair do's you pay £4 for the priveledge to park there but the scenery is fantastic, Had a wee paddle in the river, lil game of football and french cricket. Its beautiful.

Bradford has many faults but its location is second to none IMO. Having the dales 30 mins drive away is fantastic. On the way back we stopped at Appletreewick for a couple as the sun was setting over the hills. Pure bliss

Am guessing yall know about it being from here but if not get yourself there. If you have kids or grandkids then it will be the best cheapest day out you will find. Might even look into heading to move that way if work stays good.

She went to the local hospital in Otley who said they couldn't help, so redirected Her, My mum and dad to LGI.

They went tom B R I instead as its closer, upon arriving they were told to wait 2 hours, fair enough its A + E but 2 hours for the elderley?tdwn:

Anyway apparently it stank of curry and was full of asian youths... who weren't very happy that they were there.

But thats not the main point of this rant.

A district nurse was to come and see my gran on monday... at 11.00am.

By 3.00pm no one had arrived other than a doctor who my mum rang as my gran was feeling ill, she was diagnosed with bronchitis.. she has had a shock and we think this has effected her and mader her ill... fair enough.

The doctor was disguested that the district nurses hadn't even bothered to phone... my grans 83, and would rely on districts nurses.

My mum rang the number doctor gave her... the rude lady told my mum they were too busy and it would be later on or the next day. That was the only response.

Why are we sending money abroad for charities when our own NHS is in dire needs of funds and staff??
