I dont know too much about our club, but after 2-3 dissapointing seasons, is it really fair to assume we are the biggest team in this division, and therefore should be favourites to go up every season?

its like many fans of clubs these days, thinking past success means your better than everyone else. im not having a go, i just think many of our fans still believe we are premiership quality and should be winning most games. In my opinion I believe taylor needs to change the formation our playersare not suited to playing the 4-3-3/4-5-1 we should either play the simple 4-4-2 where we have width and 2 outright strikers to aim for rather than 1 forward and hoping for the best but for me we should play 3-5-2 with wingbacks and here is my reasons.

First of all we would have the width which we really lack
2nd we have 2 strikers to aim for
3rd we would have cover at the back when teams counter attack
4 the midfield shouldnt get overrun
and finally doherty who is supposedly able to pick out a pass which I got to admit is getting better in each game would have more time on the ball.

The wingbacks would be obrien left and adeyami right until rambo fit with williams duff and oliver the 3 centre halfs

in centre midfield I would go for doherty syers and bully again until flynn is fit then dpending on form bully or syers missing out

as for upront hanson looks out of soughts and though evans workrate cant be faulted his first touch is poor
therfore moult and speight should be given a go

although this is just my opinion and I do think taylor will get things right I think the formation should be changed.
so for me the game against port vale should be.

I'm not here to rub salt in the wound for anything, just a chat about the match last night really.
It's clear through reading the forums that not too many of you were pleased with your teams performance. I gotta say, I think most of our fans were expecting a much tougher test than we received last night.

Many of us were worried that when we went to extra time in mid week, it would hand you the advantage, but thankfully, you went into extra time too. Do you reckon your players weren't fit enough to handle enough match so close after playing on Tuesday night, or is it another reason? Are there underlying issues between the player and manager?

I have to admit, i didn't go to the match last night as I were working, but it sounds like we completely overran you in midfield, why is this? Are your midfielders to lightweight, or can they just not string 3 passes together?

Oh, fantastic attendance last night by the way. Close to 11,000 is quite special in League 2. However, over the radio..... our 200 odd fans were much clearer and louder than your fans... however the boos were quite resounding to your credit!

Anyway, thanks for the 3 points, and good luck for the rest of the season.
